Self esteem vs. self confidence

Far too many come to depend on what they do in order to feel ok about themselves. The danger in this is that your sense of self worth becomes dependent on what you do - so what happens when you fail or make mistakes?

Does that mean your are less worthy as a person. Try to strip away all your achievements, your successes, your money and your posessions - what's left? What are the universal qualities you have whether you succeed or not? How much do you really appreciate and recognise these qualities you have as a person? Is it time to give your self worth a little more energy and time?
