Don’t wait to get stuck in a mine to get your priorities right!

Fascinating how much of the world has become gripped by the recent rescue of the miners in Chile. How come there is so much interest?

Perhaps one of the reasons is the chance to see the extreme emotions of happiness and joy these men are showing when reunited with their families and friends. It is also fascinating to hear how how many of them that they are coming out with an new outlook on life - cherishing each moment more and spending more time on the things that matter most to them (often this involves their family). So why did it take something this extreme for these men to realise this? I would argue they are no different from the majority of people in the so called “developed” world. Getting dragged into the world of busyness and stress around us, spending too much time on the things that don’t really matter. Is it time to give your life a quick audit today - reviewing your priorities and reflecting on what really matters to you? Don’t wait to get trapped in a mine - do it now!
